It’s not going to apply all throughout the day—but at least it’s something.
“Employees from both government and private companies can ride the Light Rail Transit (LRT) lines 1 and 2 for free on May 1 (Thursday), in celebration of the 112th Philippine Labor Day,” reports Carlo Suerte Felipe in Manila Bulletin.
The employees need to present their valid company IDs to security personnel on each station to avail of the free ride.
According to LRTA Administrator Honorito Chaneco, “the free ride will be from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 7pm.”
