There’s a thin line between love and hate, and crossing that line could be deadly.
Just recently, a former policeman in Tacloban City named Dionisio Balame Jr. died after sustaining a gunshot wound in the chest during a scuffle with his own wife inside their house.
“Investigation revealed that Dionisio allegedly poked a .38 caliber gun at his wife Lilibeth but the latter was able to block it. The two then grappled for the gun until it accidentally went off, hitting Dionisio,” reports Geron Ponferrada on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Lilibeth, a teacher, voluntarily surrendered to authorities immediately after the incident. Authorities are said to be preparing a parricide case against her.
