The family of Mutya ng Davao 2002 Mary Carmel Osmeña-Pitt is worried as she has been missing for almost two weeks now. Mary Carmel’s sister, Nelly, first appealed for help on her Facebook page.
“Mary Carmel’s father, Celso, said they last saw the 34-year old former beauty queen when she left their house in Barangay Ma-a, Davao City without her mobile phone, on the afternoon of Apr 2,” reports Hernel Tocmo on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report noted: “Early morning the next day, her father received a call. He believed it was his daughter on the other line. But the caller only uttered the word, ‘Pa,’ and then the line was cut.”
The family is reportedly baffled by Mary Carmel’s disappearance. Celso explained that he and his daughter didn’t get into a fight and that her relationship with her British husband, who is currently in London, was good.
Authorities are now investigating Mary Carmel’s disappearance.
