With President Rodrigo Duterte out of the public eye for four days now, his most trusted aide on Thursday released photos of the chief executive.
The photos, which show Duterte in good shape and apparently working, was released by special assistant to the president Bong Go.
Palace told reporters the photos were taken inside Bahay Pagbabago just before 6 pm on Thursday.
The photos appear to quell rumors that the chief executive is not in good condition since he has not been seen in public for four days already. ANC confirmed that the news being shown on the television in Duterte’s background was aired between 5:30-6:30 pm Thursday.
The president was last seen in public last Sunday, at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, to honor the Marines who were killed in Marawi City.
The President also failed to lead the Independence Day rites in Rizal Park.
Palace said Duterte was just taking some time off after dealing with a brutal schedule.
