Floyd Mayweather Jr. hires chef to prepare US$1,000-a-plate meals

If you can afford it, get it.

“As part of his preparation for his May 2 bout against Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has also tapped the services of a personal chef who cooks for him for the rate of US$1,000 (approximately PHP44,000) per plate,” reports TMZ Sports.

The repport noted: “The woman behind Floyd’s diet is Chef Q (real name Quiana Jeffries), who’s based out of Vegas, but will be with Mayweather every step of the way until the fight of the century on May 2.”

Chef Q was quoted as saying, “(Floyd’s) favorite dish is spaghetti or tacos, but for the Pacquiao fight, he’ll be focusing on high-levels of protein with no carbs — turkey, chicken, beef, and fish. No pork!”

She added, “He’s always been mindful of what he eats but there is something different about this fight.”

Chef Q is on call 24/7 and whips up meals from scratch whenever Mayweather wants.
