“At the hearing of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Tuesday morning, Mar 4, Florida Bus driver Edgar Renon claimed he was only driving at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour on the way down the mountain when his brakes suddenly malfunctioned,” reports ANC.

Renon also claimed that he “refused to heed the passengers’ calls to slam the bus on the mountainside because he was trying to steer the vehicle to a safer spot.”
