On Sat, June 4, Davao City’s Crocodile Farm will host the DU31 victory party for incoming President Rodrigo Duterte.
The tough-talking Duterte, who served as Davao City’s mayor for two decades, is a man who shuns needless ceremonies and prefers to keep things simple. This applies to all aspects of his life — such as his clothes.
Duterte is almost always seen wearing a checkered or plaid polo shirt. The public has never seen him in a suit. This is why we were pleasantly surprised when we came upon this old photo showing him looking pretty sharp in a suit.
He was actually posing for a family photo in this shot (see below). We didn’t get more information on the photo but he looks like he is still in his teens here.
