Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the blaze.
“Makati Fire Marshall Ricardo Perdigon a fire that started around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, partially destroyed the three-storey cold storage building of the GMV Cold Keeper Corp. on Yakal Street, Barangay San Antonio,” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.
The report noted: “Around 30 firetrucks responded to the blaze in the building, which is still under construction. It was put out around 3:29 p.m., as Perdigon said.”
Perdigon went to say that “some workers had been doing welding at the site before the fire broke out.”
They are still determining the cause and extent of damage of the blaze.
