Filipinos are easygoing and generous with our kind words. That’s what we realized while reading Agoda’s latest press statement.
According to their latest survey conducted just this month of July, Filipino travelers are the 7th most generous in dolling out praises and high scores when reviewing hotels.
The hotel booking site analyzed a whopping seven million reviews from travelers across the world to see which nationalities tended to rate hotels higher or lower than average.
There is, after all, a review function in Agoda, where travelers can review a hotel by scoring them on a scale of 0-10 in six categories. Says Agoda, the average of those numbers become the hotel’s review.
According to their survey, Russians are the easiest to please and are the most generous in their praises. Eygptian, the Irish, Polish, and Israelis, make the top 5. Just before Filipinos are Swedes at number 6.
Who are toughest in their reviews? People from the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Oman, India, and Qatar.
