Disneyland and the Anaheim Police Department have put out an internal and citywide all-points bulletin and are on the lookout for a Filipino man who allegedly attempted a mass shooting spree at “the happiest place on Earth.”
Filipino Percival Agoncillo of San Mateo, California was arrested last month outside the Disneyland main resort entrance in Anaheim after visitors reported “a suspicious-looking man with the gun.”
When officers reached the 44-year-old Agoncillo, they found that his gun was not only loaded, he was also carrying two magazines of ammunition.
The incident happened shortly before the nightly fireworks show, though Agoncillo never made it inside the park itself.
While authorities are trying to find a motive, reports say that Agoncillo claims he “heard voices telling him to shoot people.”
Agoncillo is out on a USD$20,000 bond and is due back in court on Aug 27. (Read more on Balitang America.)
