A Filipino-Chinese tutor died after 10 heavily armed men barged into his home in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City and robbed his household of cellphones and money.
Police Officer 2 Alvin Quisumbing identified the victim as Edward Choy, 57, who suffered gunshot wounds and expired at St. Luke’s Medical Center.
According to reports, the robbers entered the victim’s home past 6 a.m. and were apparently looking for a vault or safe. Choy, on the other hand, began shouting for help and that was when the robbers shot at him.
