A 22-year-old Filipina helper and her employer’s 15-year-old daughter got into a scuffle with a woman from Hubei province after they refused to let her enter their apartment in Kowloon Monday.
The late-night visitor was asking for money from the helper’s married male employer. She brought with her a 4-year-old-boy who was allegedly his son. She also brought with her the boy’s birth certificate to prove the man’s paternity, Asia Times reports.
When the woman was refused entry, she allegedly turned violent. She took a plastic pipe and attempted to destroy the gate, injuring the Filipina’s foot in the process. The helper was brought to a nearby hospital, where she received treatment for minor injuries.
“The police arrested the man’s daughter on suspicion of criminal damage over the birth certificate and the mainland woman over the injuries received by the maid,” said the report.
The employer was not at home when the scuffle happened.
