Let’s get physical!
“Las Piñas Rep. Mark Villar’s filed House Bill 4316, citing the constitutional mandate of the state to promote physical education and encourage sports programs to foster self-discipline, teamwork, and excellence among the people,” reports ABS-CBnnews.com.
Under the bill, community fitness centers will be supervised by the municipal or city health officer. Plus, free seminars to would-be physical fitness leaders and trainors in the barangays shall be provided.
The report also added: “Upon the recommendation of the local health board of the municipality or city, a full time fitness coordinator with a monthly compensation of not less than PHP10,000 shall be appointed to manage the center.”
