Last Saturday, Fil-Swiss Formula 1 junior driver Marlon Stockinger showcased his Formula 1 know-how at an event in BGC. They closed a few roads for exhibitions, car runs, and what-have-you.
All were impressive, and Twitter-worthy, but there was one thing he did that deserved a Facebook and Instagram post, too: Marlon Stockinger drove a jeep. Yes, as in a jeepney, American war vehicle excess? Yes, that one, he drove one around BGC.
“Mahirap magmaneho ng jeep, grabe,” says Marlon Stockinger in an interview with Mark Zambrano on 24 Oras Weekend. “Tapos wala pang power steering sa kotse so it was okay. Okay naman yung manual, we just had a lot of fun.”
Granted, it looked like a marketing stint — check out the event name plastered all through the jeep’s body. Still, we’ll give it to the guy for being so game.
He posted his experience on Instagram where he said “Basta driver, sweet lover!” He also called himself #ManongSpeed, kamusta naman.
