“Filipino-American MMA fighter Brandon ‘The Truth’ Vera will face Chi Lewis ‘Chopper” Parry for the inaugural ONE Heavyweight World title on Dec. 11 at the Mall of Asia Arena,” reports Philippine News Agency.
The report noted that the “One: Spirit of Champions” event “will play host to the titanic showdown, as world-renowned Muay Thai stylist and 8-time Grappler’s Quest Champion Vera looks to claim against unbeaten British kickboxing stalwart Parry, who challenged Vera after both fighters recorded recent first round knockout wins.”
Aside from Vera, Filipino mixed martial arts superstars Mark Streigl, Ana Julaton, and Ruel Catalan will also return to the One FC cage.
