“On November 4, Filipino figure skater Michael Martinez recently celebrated his 18th birthday with friends and supporters, including his siblings, at Gerry’s Grill in Artesia, California,” reports Steve Angeles on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report said that “instead of focusing on himself, Martinez presented his mother, Maria Teresa Martinez, with 18 roses.
Martinez was quoted as telling his mother, “This signifies 18 years you have sacrificed for me.”
