It looks like she’s not quite free from this case yet.
“On Monday, May 12, President Benigno Aquino III said the plunder case against former President and current Pampanga Rep. Gloria Arroyo over the PHP728-million ferilizer fund scam can be refiled by the administration, but only if there is sufficient evidence,” reports Dexter San Pedro on InterAksyon.com.
As it turns out, the dismissed plunder case over the fertilizer fund scam was not filed by the Aquino administration. It was, in fact, filed by former solicitor general Atty. Frank Chavez, who died from cancer in September 2013 at the age of 66.
