Remember the 12-year-old boy who was garbed in complete police uniform (with a replica of 9mm gun in his holster, no less) and had been extroting money from public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers in Pasay City?

Well, the ABS-CBN News team followed up on his story and, with the help of the authories, tracked down his family in Taguig City.
The boy’s father (who does odd jobs) and his mother (who takes in laundry) reside in a shack within the 10-hectare Philippine National Railways (PNR) Compound. The boy has three other siblings.
The boy’s parents admitted that they have not been able to take care of him due to their poverty. They said that the boy had been going his own way since he was seven years old. He would often be brought back to their shack by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The kid’s parents don’t have any idea on how he got the cop’s uniform and the fake 9mm.
