Residents of Barangay Almanza I, in Las Piñas City were in a panic Tuesday morning over a suspected bomb that was attached to the gate of a house there.
Special Weapons and Tactics and Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams were dispatched to the Saver Water Station in that barangay. Police found, however, that the supposed bomb contained no gunpowder and did not pose a threat, a DZMM report said.
It was found that the fake improvised explosive device was made of sticks, PVC pipes and electrical wire.
