To accommodate the volume of commuters trooping to polling precincts on Election Day, the managemenr of both MRT and LRT have extended their hours of operation.
On Monday, the LRT Line 1 will have its first trip at 5 a.m., its last trip from Baclaran to Roosevelt at 9 p.m., and the last trip from Roosevelt to Baclaran at 9:30 p.m.LRT-1 links Roosevelt in Quezon City to Baclaran in southern Metro Manila.
The LRT Line 2 will have its first trip at 5 a.m., its last trip from Santolan to C.M. Recto in Manila at 9:30 p.m., and its last trip from Recto to Santolan at 10 p.m.LRT-2 links Recto in Manila and Santolan in eastern Metro Manila.
Meanwhile, the MRT-3 will have its first trip at 5:30 a.m. Its last trip from North Avenue to Taft Avenue will be at 10 p.m., and the last train from Taft to North Avenue will leave at 10:30 p.m.
The MRT-3 links North Avenue to Taft Avenue via Epifanio delos Santos Avenue.
