The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is poised to take over the investigation of the recent explosion at the Two Serendra Condominium complex in Taguig City. According to reports, they are just waiting for the crisis management team to completely rule out that a bomb caused the explosion.
In the “State of the Nation with Jessica Soho”, experts said they were “80 percent” confident that a gas leak from the building’s centralized LPG system caused the blast which killed three people and injured several others on Friday night.
Chemical engineer Arnold Nabua, from Synerquest Management Consultancy Services, explained that a “simple spark will be the ignition source to create an explosion,” should there be a leak in the system.
