Lloyd Abrigo, son of Ergo Cha Milk Tea House owner William Abrigo, denied poisoning his father.
Lloyd is facing murder and frustrated murder charges for the death of his father and tea shop customer Suzaine Dagohoy last April 9, 2015.
According to the Dagohoy family, it was suspicious that Lloyd left his father in the hospital and immediately went back to clean the milk tea store.
A store employee had earlier implicated Lloyd in the milk tea deaths.
The Dagohoys believe Lloyd was not in good terms with his father, and he intentionally put acid in the milk tea to kill him.
The Abrigo and Dagohoy families met during the preliminary investigation of the case.
Lloyd, however, failed to submit a counter-affidavit. His counsel explained that they are still waiting for a copy of the CCTV footage from the milk tea store.
