Erap and Jejomar are BFFs again

The bromance is back on!

“In an interview during the celebration of the Philippine Independence Day at the Rizal Park, Vice President Jejomar Binay laid to rest any talk of a possible rift in the opposition,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

When asked about his relationship with former president and current Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada, Binay said, “Kulang na lang magyakapan kami ni Pangulong Erap. Ang tawag ko kay Mayor Erap, PM, President Mayor (We’d probably be hugging if we could, President Erap and I. I call Mayor Erap, ‘PM’ or ‘President Mayor.'”

When asked to explain his remark, Binay added, “Pagmamahalan namin sa oposisyon. Walang iwanan (We in the opposition have great affection for each other. We don’t leave anyone behind).”

The report noted: “Binay, Estrada and Senator Juan Ponce Enrile are known allies who founded the United Nationalist Alliance before the 2013 elections. Enrile and Estrada’s son, Jinggoy, are currently facing plunder and graft charges before the Sandiganbayan for their alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam of Janet Lim Napoles.”
