This detail—if it’s true—has somehow made the case scarier.
“Paolo Salazar, who was with race car driver Enzo Pastor on June 12 when a motorcycle-riding gunman suspected to be PO2 Edgar Angel killed him, revealed that Pastor had called his parents and Dalia first to ask which route to take to the Clark International Speedway,” reports Camille Diola on Philstar.com.
According to Salazar, Pastor’s parents advised him to pass through Manila via the Nagtahan Bridge.
However, Dalia (also over the cellphone) insisted that they take the C-5 highway and pass through Visayas Avenue in Quezon City.
The report noted: “It was at the junction connecting Congressional Avenue and Visayas Avenue when the gunman attacked Pastor’s vehicle. Pastor died on the spot, while Salazar sustained an injury.”
