Two buildings in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City were evacuated by tenants and employees on Friday over a bomb threat received past 2 p.m.

Taguig police chief Senior Supt. Arthur Felix Asis confirmed in an Interaksyon.com report that they received “positive information” about the threat. That means they were positive that there was a bomb threat, but not that there was an actual bomb.

A phone call from an unidentified source said the 17-floor Net One building will be blown up.

As of 5 p.m., more bomb disposal specialists and K9 units were deployed in the area and roads near Net One building have been temporarily closed to traffic.

Local Government Secretary Manuel Roxas II has announced the supposed bomb threat was a hoax.
