“On Friday, Jan 17, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) issued a traffic advisory for the scheduled road reblocking along EDSA over the weekend,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The reblocking will start tonight from 10pm to until January 20, Monday next week.
The report said the road repairs will be conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the following areas:
1. EDSA between F.B. Harrison and P. Celle Street (4th lane, northbound) Pasay City
2. EDSA between Reliance Street and Libertad Street, Mandaluyong
3. EDSA between Tandang Sora Street and Arellano Street (5th lane, northbound) Caloocan City
4. Along C.P. Garcia between Magiting Street and University Avenue (going University Avenue, 2nd lane from sidewalk) Quezon City
Moreover, the DPWH will also inspect the southbound lane of Aurora Tunnel on Saturday, January 18, from 2am to 5pm due to a reported water leakage.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
