Duterte’s Malacañang work schedule starts at 1pm

Incoming president Rodrigo Duterte doesn’t have a typical leadership style. Looks like his working schedule when he sets foot in Malacañang won’t be the typical eight to five as well.

Duterte expressed his preference for working from noon up to the wee hours in the morning, according to a report by GMA News

“My day will start at 1pm everyday. Dire-diretso na ‘yan hanggang 12 (It will continue up to 12),” he told reporters in a Davao City hotel.

Duterte reiterated that work will always be in Malacañang, but he prefers to go home to Davao City.

“I might go home in Davao everyday,” he added.

He even added that the official residence of the President of the Philippines has a reputation for being haunted.

“May prejudice ako sa Malacañang. Tanungin n’yo si Imee Marcos, nag-usap kami, sabi niya talagang may multo doon, mga lima (Ask Imee Marcos. We arleady talked about this. There are ghosts in Malacanang, about five)” he said.
