Cops in Los Angeles, California yesterday tweeted a fake driver’s license bearing President Rodrigo Duterte’s photo.

“Vice officers recognized the picture used on a fake ID, to be that of the President of the Philippines,” the Los Angeles Police Department Rampart said.

“Good thing our Officers patrol Historic Filipino Town and are up to speed. Nice try,” it added.

Coconuts Manila has gotten in touch with the police but we have yet to receive their feedback.

The United States has the highest number of Filipino immigrants in the entire world. From 2014 to 2018, about 43% of them lived in California, while the rest are in Hawaii, Texas, and New York. When ranked by counties, the top four places with the most number of Filipinos are Los Angeles and San Diego in California, and Honolulu County in Hawaii, and Clark County in Nevada.
