“The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has identified 10 areas in Metro Manila with high concentrations of street children,” reports Rainier Allan Ronda in The Philippine Star.
The said areas are the following:
1. Roxas Boulevard (Manila)
2. Kalayaan Road (Quezon City)
3. Barangay E. Rodriguez (Quezon City)
4. Quezon Avenue in (Quezon City)
5. Balintawak (Caloocan City)
6. Greenhills (Sna Juan City)
7. Ortigas (San Juan City)
8. Kapasigan (Pasig City)
9. Madrigal Avenue, Alabang (Muntinlupa City)
10. NAIA Road (Parañaque City)
The report noted: “The agency will prioritize these areas in a campaign to help street children.”
