We know that our airport isn’t perfect…but it shouldn’t drive people to drink themselves senseless, right?
A drunk 32-year-old Ukrainian national was offloaded from his Hong Kong-bound flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 on Fri afternoon, Jun 10.
“The Ukrainian man was seen drinking at the pre-departure area of the terminal with a fellow seaman. He became unruly after drinking about four bottles of liquor. Airport authorities tried to pacify him but he was already so drunk and was later sprawled on the floor,” reports Raoul Esperas on ABS-CBNnews.com.
He was brought to the airport’s medical clinic and offloaded, but his three companions were able to board their 2:30pm flight. He will face charges for causing alarm and scandal.
The report didn’t say whether the Ukrainian national will be detained.
