This story packs a double whammy.
“At around 2am on Wednesday, Mar 5, a Toyota Innova driven by a Korean man crashed into the back portion of Admiral bus, which was on full stop at a loading bay along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Guadalupe, Makati,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Jerome Lantin on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Rescuers who were called to the scene noted that the Korean reeked of alcohol. He, along with a female passenger identified as Sheryl Sabio, got pinned to their seats inside their heavily damaged vehicle. The two sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities discovered that the driver of the Admiral bus that had been hit didn’t have a driver’s license. So, he’s now facing charges, too.
