There are good cops and there are bad cops…and it’s easy to see which category this cop belongs to.
A policeman was arrested for shooting a casino dealer and threatening customers, including a police official, and employees at a fastfood restaurant in Marulas, Valenzuela.
“Shortly before midnight on Sunday, Feb 23, Police Officer 1 John Rhayan Tenebro, arrived at a fastfood restaurant in Marulas, Valenzuela on his motorcycle and saw Nia Dianne Galvan, 23 and and Yogi Ong, 21, about to leave the restaurant,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.
Apparently, as the report revealed, “Tenebro had a traffic altercation with Galvan and Ong a few minutes before the incident and that he followed the two and cornered them at the restaurant.”
Tenebro threatened Galvan and Ong, who simply ignored him. The two got on a motrocycle and revved up the engine. This was when Tenebro shot Galvan, hitting her in the leg. Next, Tenebro entered the store and pistol-whipped Drealyn Alere, 22, one of the customers.
The report didn’t say what Alere had to do with the incident. It seemed as if Tenebro just singled her out for the sole purpose of pistol-whipping her. Tenebro then proceeded to kick some of the other customers.
Thankfully, one of the customers grabbed Tenebro fom behind. This gave others the opportunity to gang up on him as well.
Tenebro is now detained at the Valenzuela City Jail. He has been charged with frustrated homicide, three counts of grave threats and slight physical injuries. For the record, prior to his meltdown, Tenebro was assigned to the Malabon Police Community Precinct 2.
