Drug pusher caught after 10 years

Sometimes, it takes time for karma to catch up with you.

“Alphy Marquez, an alleged drug pusher from Ilocos Norte was arrested at the Araneta Bus Terminal in Cubao, Quezon City on Saturday morning, May 10, after 10 years in hiding,” reports Jun Elias in The Philippine Star.

The report noted: “Marquez has been charged for various violations of Republic Act 9165, the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and a warrant for his arrest was issued on March 30, 2004 by Bangui, Ilocos Norte Regional Trial Court Branch 19 Judge Jose Pilar.”

Marquez was brought to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) office at Camp Diego Silang in La Union before he was turned over to the court. No bail was recommended in his case.
