This confirms that someone is coming out of his so-called retirement.
On Thu, Jul 21, Senate President Franklin Drilon revealed that supposedly “retired” Sen. Manny Pacquiao had asked him if he could still go back to the ring.
“Drilon said that he told Manny Pacquiao to schedule his supposed upcoming fight in the US during the break at the Senate. Drilon likewise told Pacquiao that he can proceed with his fight as long as it does not interfere with his legislative work,” Adrian Ayalin on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Drilon explained, “His commitment is that he will not neglect his duties as a senator and I take his word for that.”
It may be recalled that Pacquiao, 37, earlier told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that “his top priority was his political career but that his love for boxing had not diminished.”
