Leave it to the Department of Transportation’s social media team to tickle ribs online after the agency posted a rather unique promotional post highlighting the Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) by referencing the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train.

The transport bureau posted an image on social media featuring MRT-3 coaches, with its characters edited in.

In Filipino, the post read: “The trains are fast, safe, and comfortable. More importantly, there are no ‘demons,’ thanks to the successful MRT-3 rehabilitation. Free rides are still ongoing until April 30. So come, let’s ride!”

The post, with over 41,000 shares as of writing, led to some interesting user comments.

“There are a lot of demons there during rush hour,” one post read.

“Thank you, Pres. Duterte, Sec. Tugade, DOTR Team, Donut Hashira, Kamaboko Gonpachiro, Wild Boar, and Lightning Sleeping Kid,” another read.

“I commend the Anime reference but we do know that the Mugen train arc doesn’t end well right? Anyway, congratulations on the project,” one user pointed out.
