“The real solution is additional trains.”
“This is what Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Sec. Jun Abaya said would end the problem of hundreds of thousands of commuters who must endure tightly-packed trains and long lines at Metro Rail Transit (MRT) stations almost everyday,” reports ANC.
Unfortunately, that solution won’t be in effect anytime soon. Abaya told ANC that the 48 new train coaches government will procure won’t arrive until 2016.
