Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya said the repair and upgrade of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will be completed by 2015.
The repairs would be in time for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in 2015, which will be hosted by the country. According to Interaksyon.com, Abaya said that some of the NAIA repairs will be finished this year, the retrofit of Terminal 1 should be finished by next year. Terminal 3 is also expected to be fully operational by 2014.
