DOTC has 2 options for new airport site

Which place is best?

“The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) is still weighing its options on the location of a new international airport that aims to replace the overcrowded and aging Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA),” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Jon Carlos Rodriguez on ABS-CBNnews.com.

San Miguel and Philippine Airlines president Ramon Ang proposed a US$10 billion airport to be built on a reclamation area along Manila Bay owned by CyberBay.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on the other hand, is proposing that Cavite’s Sangley Point, a former U.S. naval base, be picked as the site of the new airport.
