Plans are great, but execution is another thing.
“The Department of Tourism says it is now executing a master plan to improve not just Manila but the country’s other tourist spots as well,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Jasmin Romero on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The agency will focus on the city of Manila first, as 75 percent of tourists go through the city. In particular, it will prioritize the improvement of Roxas Boulevard and to ultimately turn it into a “world-class” attraction.
According to the report, the DOT hopes to entice 10 million international tourists by the end of 2016.
