They want another chance to be on the road again.
“Don Mariano Transit Corporation recently filed a motion for reconsideration, appealing the revocation of its franchise,” reports ANC.
The report revealed that “in its motion before the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), the bus firm claimed it was not given due process and was not given a chance by the LTFRB to respond.”
The LTFRB will hear the motion on February 5.
Don Mariano’s bus franchise was earlier cancelled due to several violations, including the fatal Skyway crash last December, which left at least 20 people dead. The LTFRB had said that most of Don Mariano’s buses were no longer road-worthy.
