The Health department will be changing its health slogan for call centers from “Stress-free, Eat the right food and Exercise” (SEX) to “Live Well, Work Well.”
The decision stems from criticism received from several quarters, particularly a lawmaker who opposed the slogan because its acronym – SEX – is “unpalatable”. In a GMA News report, DOH spokesperson Enrique Tayag explained apologized to the public and Eastern Samar Rep. Ben Evardone. He stressed that the department did not have any bad intentions when they coined the tagline.
The DOH campaign forms part of the “iCare Healthy Lifestyle Office Caravan” program covering some 300 call center companies and 200,000 agents.
