Before you get ready for the weekend, enjoy this 37-second video of pure cuteness that this doggo of Manila has to offer.
Bernice Rosario posted this video yesterday of a dog and his K9 handler who just couldn’t get him to get up.
Rosario said she was on the way to school when she saw the dog laying on the ground at the Vito Cruz LRT train station.
The dog handler tugged at the dog’s paws for a few seconds before giving up and letting the lab lay there at the train station.
Rosario captioned the post: “The best interpretation of everyone on Mondays made by this K9 Labrador: Lab = me, Handler/Officer = responsibilities.”
As of posting time, the video had over 30,000 shares.
On a follow-up post, Rosario said she inadvertently got the handler in trouble because netizens assumed that the dog, who she found out was named Pogi (handsome in Tagalog) was laying down because he was being mishandled or hurt.
“I would like to clarify that during the footage, K9 Pogi was NOT being mistreated in any way and from what I saw, the dog was well taken care of and loved by his handler,” she said. “Last I saw them, Pogi was happily eating a bowl of dog food. According to K9 handler Sonza, there is really a certain area in the station where he really stops and lies down.”
She ended her post: “Finally meeting them really brightened up my day and if ever you stop by Vito Cruz station, you might be able to see them doing their rounds at the Southbound platform. Take time to thank them for their hard work.”
Have a good weekend, everyone! And take it easy, unless you want to end up like Pogi on Monday.
