Despite the prevailing election gun ban, a dog named “Pacquiao” got shot in Davao City.
The dog’s owner, Teofilo Layaog, revealed that Pacquiao got out of the house last Jan 14 and was shot by a still-unidentified man.
According to an Umagang Kay Ganda report, Pacquiao dog was rushed to the clinic of veterinarian Dr. Gibb Devora. There, it was seen that the bullet had entered Pacquiao’s left cheek and went through his right cheek. His tongue and jaw were also affected.
Devora said infection has set in on the dog’s massive wound and that he isn’t sure if Pacquiao’s jaw would be restored.
Meanwhile, Layaog is appealing for help for his pet. He can only hope that whoever shot the dog gets caught and punished one day.
