“Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Kim Henares confirmed that actress-host Anne Curtis went to her officer earlier this week, but said she was unable to meet with the Dyesebel star because she was out of the office,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Ina Reformina on ABS-CBNnews.com.
However, Henares refused to divulge any information about why Curtis went to her office. She said, “Wala akong pwedeng sabihin. Dapat tanungin niyo na lang si Anne Curtis bakit siya pumunta sa opisina ko. (I can’t say anything. You should ask Anne Curtis why she went to my office).”
The report said that “BIR sources told ABS-CBN News that Curtis has been issued a letter of authority (LOA) for alleged tax deficiencies.”
