Ian Jasper Calalang, 18 — a freshman student at University of the Philipines (UP) Diliman in Quezon City — has been missing since Tue, Jan 12.
“The student’s aunt, Marissa Patawaran, revealed that Calalang was carrying money supposedly for his enrollment. He texted his parents on Tuesday morning saying he had arrived at the UP campus. It was the family’s last communication with Calalang,” reports Dona Dominguez-Cargullo in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The report noted: “Calalang’s parents later went to UP and learned that the student was not able to enroll.”
Patawaran said Calalang “is a good son and he does not fail to text or call his parents on his whereabouts.” Naturally, the family is now worried.
For any information on Calalang’s whereabouts, his family can be reached through 0932-222-0864 and 0917-339-0488.
