The College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Association Food Center or simply known as CASAA to UP Diliman students and employees, has long been one of the university’s iconic food stops.

That’s why it came as a shock to CASAA fans that the food spot would be closed down. These faithful patrons have set up the Save the CASAA Facebook page.
They have also launched a petition at Change.org — Manifesto of Support for the CASAA Employees and Concessionaires.
CASAA’s supporters are expecially concerned about where the employees will go once the food spot is closed. There are some CASAA employees who have served over 20 years to 30 years at the food spot.
On Mon, Dec 15, the CASAA patrons are urging those who want the CASAA to be saved to wear a red shirt to show support and express protest over the closure.
