Did you feel it? Mild quake shakes Metro Manila

Honesty, we didn’t…and we consider that a good thing.

“At around 7:25pm on Monday, September 29, a mild earthquake shook Metro Manila,” reports ABS-CBNnewscom.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), “the quake measured only magnitude 1.7 but was felt at Intensity 2 in Manila, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and Antipolo.”

The report noted: “The quake, which was tectonic in origin, struck at a depth of 17 kilometers near Mandaluyong City.”
