Relax, it’s only because they’re doing some maintenance work.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will implement a temporary passport-releasing scheme beginning next week so that the e-Passport System can undergo technical maintenance that would prevent any breakdown and malfunction and ensure applicants that passport services will not be disrupted,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The temporary passport-releasing scheme will be in effect starting Tuesday, April 1. The DFA expects to lift this temporary scheme and return to its normal release schedule on April 15, 2014.
