Heads up for everyone with passport appointments on Sep 25.
“In compliance with Proclamation No. 1128, s. 2015, the DFA said there will be no consular services (e.g., passport, authentication/’red ribboning,’ consular civil registration, and other related services) in DFA-OCA (DFA Aseana) and in all DFA Field Offices (all DFA Satellite Offices in Metro Manila and all DFA Regional Consular Offices) on September 25, in observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice),” reports InterAksyon.com.
Thus, all those with appointments scheduled on that day shall be accommodated from either Sep 21 to 24 or from Sep 28 to Oct 2, 2015.
The report added: “Those with passport-related queries may send their e-mails to passportconcerns@dfa.gov.ph. Those with Authentication (a.k.a., “red ribbon”) queries may send their e-mails to authenticationdfa@gmail.com. Those with queries related to Reports of Births, Marriages, and Deaths may send their e-mails at atn.unofficial@gmail.com.)
