“Florencia Cornejo, the grandmother of Deniece Cornejo, has filed a grave coercion complaint against Atty. Alma Mallonga, the lawyer of Navarro, following an alleged physical confrontation last May 16,” reports ANC.
The report noted: “Florencia filed the complaint on Tuesday, May 20, at the Taguig Regional Trial Court, where her supposed confrontation with Mallonga took place during the last hearing of Navarro’s serious illegal detention charge against Deniece, Cedric Lee, and Simeon “Zimmer” Raz, Jr.”
Florencia had claimed that Mallonga confronted her for wearing a T-shirt with the words, “Justice for Deniece, jail the rapist.” She said Mallonga shook her.
Mallonga, on the other hand, has denied Florencia’s accusations.
God only knows where this subplot will lead.
